Funkychild Creative was started by Winnie Clark, a creative director, graphic designer, and brand communicator. Funkychild Creative creates beautiful and engaging content.
Winnie is a New York City born and based designer, specializing in digital, print, and corporate design. She started her career as a graphic designer and copywriter at the AARP magazine while attending school at Howard University in Washington, DC. She later went on to attain her Master's Degree in advertising design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Winnie quickly jumped in to a fast-pace career in New York where she learned the art of making standout work that rises above the crowd. She began desiging for an award-winning luxury safari outfitter, Micato Safaris. Winnie later went on to work for TAG Creative where she worked as art director to several global beauty brands such as Maybelline New York, L'Oreal Paris, Sally Hansen, and Dark and Lovely.
Since freelancing Winnie has worked on projects with brands from Google to Calvin Klein as well as taking design lead for several start-ups such as Mented Cosmetics and Julie Emergency Contraceptive.
Through her experience in luxury and beauty, Winnie has learned that it's about clean, sleek, simplicity in design that catches eyes and resonates through time.
